Fi manages an international relief charity and spends as much of the rest of her time as a professional alpine photographer.

“I have been working as a professional alpine photographer for the past two years, and have been featured for my landscape photography on the internet, as well as being print published in The Guardian newspaper. My alpine photography work is frequently shared on social media, including by The Alpine Club as well as Zermatt Tourism.

“My participation in The Brick Lane Gallery is part of an ongoing project, a series of large scale images examining the relationship between photographers and alpinists.

“The alpine community is worldwide and incredibly supportive, with a desire to appreciate and express their interest. Many of their experiences are shared through social media, particularly through Facebook Mountaineering groups and Twitter. The inspiring images and posted information communicate upcoming climbs and celebrations of successful ascents.

“My aim is that my work highlights this vibrant, friendly, international community, who celebrate a shared interest for alpine exploration which literally crosses borders.”
