From fauna, flora and 4,000 metre summits, the Pennine Alps are a wealth of wildspaces. Valais are providing access to beautiful landscapes with sustainability at its heart. Marked hikes lead mountain explorers to view scenic lakes and historically significant mountains, as the famous indigenous, cute Valais sheep live freely on the hillsides.

Description

Alpin 2026 ~ Wildräume

www.fiphotos.org Alpine Wildspaces

Fi Alpine Photos 2026 acknowledges this diversity, featuring the Matterhorn / Mont Cervin / Monte Cervino for the month of July, when Whymper, Douglas, Hudson, Hadow, Croz, and two Zermatt guides, the Taugwalders made their first ascent on 14 July 1865.

Alongside my features of the Pennine Alps, Valais, of which there are six images taken very recently in 2025, June and August also highlight the beautiful Säntis 2,501 metres, the highest mountain in the Alpstein massif of northeastern Switzerland. I had the privilege of visiting the region with my cousin Gaby, and were treated to the magnificent vistas, including seeing the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau some 117 kms away.

The month of September features the stunning Antelope Canyon. No, that’s not a mistake! America has made it to the Alpine Calendar. I had the privilege of visiting the Navajo Upper Antelope Canyon, a slot canyon in the American Southwest, Arizona. Also seen as a wallpaper on Microsoft desktops, this beautiful canyon was featured in the National Geographic, but had long, long, long been loved by the Navajo. Total respect for them and their continued care for this remarkable place.

I hope you enjoy Fi’s Alpine 2026 Calendar. All the images are available to purchase as unframed prints, and bespoke frame recommendation on request. I have kept the price the same this year, despite postage changes.

I’ll be delighted to provide bulk orders over 2 calendars. Contact: email.
