Very happy to participate in the Brick Lane Gallery exhibition LANDSCAPE; RURAL VS URBAN 4th – 14th February. Great feedback, with a sale of ‘Three Peaks’, one of my personal favourite shots.
‘Three Peaks’ features the Ober Gabelhorn (4063), Zinalrothorn (4221) & Weisshorn peaks (4506), photographed from the top of the Gorner Ridge (3135), a distance of @ 5 miles. The shot was taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ200 bridge camera, Leica fixed aperture lens, F/4, 1/100, ISO-160, no tripod. The weather conditions had been severe earlier in the day, with many of the alpine lifts and cars closed due to high winds of up to 80 km/h.
Consequently, when the weather began to lift, there were magnificent views, including this shot of the Matterhorn 4478.
